Stanstead Hall is lovely 16th Century Suffolk Farmhouse set in a large moated site. It is located close to Lavenham and Long Melford.
The farm was originally a dairy farm but is now mainly arable with some livestock around. The house and caravan site are approached down a long drive of about 400 yards, leading to the farm gate, the caravan site is behind the farm buildings and overlooking the open countryside. The house is adjacent and looks over the moated garden and grass parkland
We have no immediate neighbours so you can be assured of a quiet location and an abundance of wildlife. The family Labrador called Poppy is the meeter and greeter together with one or two other farm animals.
Dogs are welcome and many walks are available. It is also a wonderful area for cycling and there are many local historical sites easily reached by car or bicycle. The countryside is ideal for walking and cycling holidays with plenty of birds and wildlife on your doorstep.
